RECYCLED PAPER JEWELLERY

After Easter we will be doing jewellery with recycling materials. Here we have a few images and videos to help us. You can practice this paper jewellery on Easter, or bring new ideas to class.

MATERIAL NEEDED: Magazine pages, acrylic paint, triple thick gloss glaze or nail polish, chains, beads or any other decorative item that you like, gold leaf foil, jewellery findings, cotton or anyother type of cords that you like, paintbrush, white glue, superglue and IMAGINATION.

TEXTURES IN ART

Texture


The visual elements of an image are THE POINT, THE LINE, THE SHAPE, THE COLOUR AND THE TEXTURE.

During these passed first and second terms we have seen four of these visual elements: the Point, the Line, the Shape and the Colour. The next visual element to see is TEXTURE.

TEXTURE is a powerful art element because it can quickly evoke memories and emotions. Start becoming more aware of textures all around you—the carpet, in the clothes you’re wearing, and the fur on your cat. Check these presentation and video to get a better idea of this concept:
